Shane and Shane

Good morning. As I shared originally, there is not method to my madness! Some weeks I will post more than others as this is my outlet, so please bear with me. I love worship music and some of my favorite music is Shane and Shane (so when I sing these songs it is Shane³ or Tri- Shane). And yes, I sing as good as they do, but miraculously that only happens when I am by myself!

Anyway, if you are ever looking for some great music to listen to I recommend Shane and Shane and start with Psalms Live and Hymns Live. So, so good. Periodically, I will post one here and today the one I have chosen is Psalm 130 – here is that incredible Psalm and then the song. Praise the Lord well today, surrender all!

My Soul Waits for the Lord

A Song of Ascents.

130 Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord!
    O Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleas for mercy!

If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities,
    O Lord, who could stand?
But with you there is forgiveness,
    that you may be feared.

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
    and in his word I hope;
my soul waits for the Lord
more than watchmen for the morning,
more than watchmen for the morning.

O Israel, hope in the Lord!
For with the Lord there is steadfast love,
and with him is plentiful redemption.
And he will redeem Israel
    from all his iniquities.

  1. They are so good and so real. I think their version of Andrew Petersons “Is anyone worthy” is my all time favorite praise song (Chris Tomlin did it recently too) Can’t go wrong with Shanex3. Really good stuff. dad
